nomadiQ Switzerland warranty

Free nomadiQ warranty:
This guarantee is offered by nomadiQ Switzerland at no extra charge. Here you’ll find the information you need if your product is not working or has a fault. In accordance with current legislation, the customer has various rights in the event of a defective product, such as additional services, replacement of the product, reduction of the purchase price or compensation. In the European Union, for example, this is a two-year warranty from the date of receipt of the product. These and other legal rights are not affected by this warranty. This warranty gives the owner additional rights over and above the statutory warranty provisions.

NomadiQ commitment:
nomadiQ warrants to the purchaser of this product (or, in the case of a gift or promotion, to the person for whom it was purchased) that the product is free from defects in material and workmanship for the period specified below, when assembled and used in accordance with the instructions provided. Under normal use and maintenance in a private home, nomadiQ undertakes, within the framework of this warranty, to repair or replace defective parts according to the periods, limitations and exclusions applicable below. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY APPLIES ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER AND IS NOT TRANSFERABLE TO A SUBSEQUENT OWNER, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A GIFT OR PROMOTION AS MENTIONED ABOVE.

To benefit from the Trouble-Free Guarantee :
Keep your proof of purchase and/or invoice. The above warranty applies only if the owner handles the product with care, following all the instructions in the supplied user manual, unless the owner can prove that the defect or failure is not related to non-compliance with the above obligations.

Treatment of Warranty / Exclusion of Warranty :
If a part is covered by this warranty, please contact nomadiQ customer service or after-sales service. After investigation, nomadiQ will repair or replace at its discretion the defective part covered by this warranty. If the part cannot be repaired or replaced, nomadiQ may choose to replace the product in question with a new product at its own discretion. nomadiQ may ask you to send parts for investigation. This WARRANTY is void in the event of damage, wear, discoloration and/or rust for which nomadiQ is not responsible, in particular in the event of :
– Misuse, abuse, modification, incorrect application, vandalism, negligence, incorrect assembly or installation, and failure to perform normal and regular maintenance;
– Damage caused by insects (such as spiders) and rodents (such as squirrels), including but not limited to damage to burner tubes and/or gas pipes;
– Exposure to salty air and/or sources of chlorine, such as swimming pools and spas;
– Extreme weather conditions such as hail, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis or torrential floods.

Warranty periods :
– Base & barbecue panels: 5 years, rust/perforation-free (2 years on paint, excluding fading)
– Stainless steel burner tubes: 5 years, rust/perforation-free
– Steel grids with enamel coating: 5 years, rust/perforation-free
– Plastic parts: 5 years except for discoloration
– All other parts: 2 years

Warnings :
IN ADDITION TO THE WARRANTY AND EXCLUSIONS DESCRIBED IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT, NO OTHER WARRANTY OR STATEMENT OF VOLUNTARY LIABILITY BEYOND NOMADIQ’S CIVIL LIABILITY IS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN. THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT DOES NOT LIMIT OR EXCLUDE ANY SITUATION OR CLAIM FOR WHICH NOMADIQ IS LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE. THE WARRANTY EXPIRES AFTER THE MONETARY WARRANTY PERIODS. WARRANTIES GIVEN BY PERSONS, INCLUDING A DEALER OR RETAILER, IN CONNECTION WITH THE PRODUCTS (SUCH AS “ADDITIONAL WARRANTIES”) ARE NOT BINDING ON NOMADIQ. THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PART OR PRODUCT. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT UNDER THIS VOLUNTARY WARRANTY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE NOMADIQ PRODUCT SOLD. YOU ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS, INJURY TO YOURSELF AND/OR OTHERS, DAMAGE TO PRODUCT AND PROPERTY DUE TO IMPROPER OR ABUSIVE USE OF THE PRODUCT OR FAILURE TO FOLLOW NOMADIQ’S INSTRUCTIONS IN THE ACCOMPANYING OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS. SPARE PARTS AND ACCESSORIES REPLACED UNDER THIS WARRANTY ARE WARRANTED ONLY UP TO THE ORIGINAL WARRANTY PERIOD(S) INDICATED ABOVE. THIS WARRANTY APPLIES ONLY TO PRIVATE USE IN A SINGLE-FAMILY HOME OR APARTMENT AND DOES NOT APPLY TO NOMADIQ PRODUCTS USED IN COMMERCIAL, COMMUNITY OR MULTIPLE-OCCUPANCY ENVIRONMENTS SUCH AS RESTAURANTS, HOTELS, RESORTS OR RENTAL UNITS. NOMADIQ MAY MODIFY THE DESIGN OF ITS PRODUCTS FROM TIME TO TIME. NOTHING IN THIS WARRANTY SHALL OBLIGATE NOMADIQ TO MAKE SUCH DESIGN CHANGES IN PREVIOUSLY MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS. THESE CHANGES SHOULD NOT BE INTERPRETED AS A STATEMENT THAT PREVIOUS DESIGNS WERE DEFECTIVE.
