Halloumi grilled with honey

You can’t miss Halloumi with a drink on the nomadiQ! The Halloumi stays in place on the grill mat, so you don’t have to clean it afterwards. A delicious sweet nut snack, ideal as an appetizer or snack.

Serve honey-roasted halloumi as a delicious vegetarian starter or snack.

Ingredients:

450 gr. Halloumi

4 tablespoons honey

Optional: a small handful of walnuts

Supplies:

NomadiQ BBQ

nomadiQ enclosed grill plate or nomadiQ grill mat


Cutting board knife

Bowl

Brush

Instructions:

  1. Cut the Halloumi into 8 equal slices. Put the honey in a bowl and prepare a brush.
  2. Grease the nomadiQ grates with a little oil and grill the Halloumi for 3 minutes on each side until the cheese shows grill marks on both sides.
  3. Move the Halloumi onto the closed nomadiQ grill plate or place it on a nomadiQ grill mat and turn down the gas.
  4. Brush honey over the cheese and leave for a few minutes.
  5. Serve the Halloumi with a few crumbled/sliced walnuts as a garnish!
