  2. Lawyer
  3. Cauliflower
  4. Cabbage

All these vegetables can be easily prepared in no time.

Preparation steps
First, set up your grill and preheat the grates for 2 to 3 minutes. Seasoning the grids with a little oil not only improves the cooking results, but also makes cleaning up much easier. While the grill is preheating, it’s time to prepare the vegetables.

Basically, most vegetables just need a little oil, salt and pepper, which is all you need. For example, take a zucchini or eggplant and cut it into slices about half a centimetre thick. Brush or spray slices with a thin layer of olive oil. A 1st press or extra virgin oil gives it that extra touch of flavor. Season the slices with salt and pepper to taste, and you’re ready to grill.

Some vegetables are easy to slice, while others are a little more difficult. You can simply cut the vegetable into small pieces, also known as coarsely chopped. It’s also a perfect way to combine several vegetables, for example; cauliflower, sweet onion, bell bell pepper and mushrooms. After chopping the vegetables, follow the same steps to top them with olive oil, salt and pepper, which in this case works best in a bowl.

Grilling your vegetables
Meanwhile, the grill is preheated, so carefully place the vegetables on the grids using tongs. In the case of vegetable slices, it takes about 2-3 minutes for the vegetables to get that perfect light-brown caramelized color and grill marks. Turn the vegetables over with the tongs and wait another 2-3 minutes until your grilled vegetable slices are ready.

When cutting vegetables or vegetable mixtures on the barbecue, working with a closed grill surface instead of open grates can be very useful. nomadiQ offers a grill plate that is the perfect accessory for preparing ingredients that need to be mixed. Preparation takes about the same time as the chopped vegetables, i.e. a total of 5 to 6 minutes, stirring the vegetables regularly once a minute.

Wait a minute
When the vegetables are perfectly grilled, remove them from the grill and place them in a bowl or on a plate. Grilled vegetables from our portable barbecue taste better if you let them cool for a minute or so. Now it’s time to enjoy a delicious, healthy meal!
